About the Author
Dr. Oh Hwa-seok has been covering, researching, and teaching India for more than 20 years as a journalist, researcher, and scholar. He is a professor of global education at Pai Chai University, president of the Global Management Strategy Institute, and head of the India Research Center, Seoul, Korea. He also worked as a journalist for nearly 20 years at the Maeil (which means daily) Business Newspaper and the Korea Times.
While at Maeil Business in 2000, he developed a special interest in India after a special report called “Learns from Indian IT”. He taught Korean economics at India’s prestigious JNU for many years and served as a consultant for Asian Development Bank (ADB). Since 2011, he has been running the first India AMP (Advanced Management Program) for CEOs in Korea. He graduated from Hankuk (means Korea) University of Foreign Studies and same Graduate School, and holds an MA and PhD in economics from the University of Hawaii, USA.
